The boy in striped pajamas begins in Berlin in 1942. Nine-year-old Bruno comes home one day and discovers that all his things are beeing packed in boxes. His father has been promoted and the whole family has to move to another house far, far, far away where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. It is based on World War II. the film is about how they were during World War II. It is built on World War II.

I think this movie was good because it is structured well how it was during the second world war. But do not think they were able to do what they wanted to during the Second World War. Because it was hard and hard for people and I do not think children should be involved in things like this. This both positive and negative film for it explains well how they went and so. But you have to be old enough to understand how it came to be this way. I would recommend this movie if anyone asks how they were during World War II, because it explains well and shows how they were.
